This is a really nice place to see in Frankfurt since it is the financial capital. It is a self guided tour for an hour that you need to book in advance. It is in English and German. There is also an app that you can download. It starts with an exhibition of the history of the stock exchange with interactive displays and ends with a view of the stock exchange room. It’s easily seen in an hour. Recommend this tour if you’re in town.
It is interesting to take the tour they offer (there's one available in English) and see how people work there and how the actions rise and fall. Was a fun visit!
Maybe my expectations were a little high but there is not really a lot to see. Can well imagine that the floor trading appeared more exciting than what screen trading is today.
I really liked the architecture of this building. I knew that here has very important place on world economy. Here also symbolises the strength of German economy.
Interesting inside in the floor how change when some stock price is changing at every trade, which is included in the main German index, DAX 30. The building itself is a splendor with long history.
A fairly interesting lecture on the stock exchange before you are allowed to view the trading ground. Though it has lost it business ... it still retains its uniqeness inside this exchange
To visit the building you need to make a reservation :-(
